Joshua, Thanks for the links to the boxcar photos. I poked around a little bit and found two photos that intrigued me. First is this three truck Erie gondola. Never seen or heard of a car like this. Can one of you Erie experts help me out? How about it Schuyler? http://www.boxcars.us/Boxcars_A_M/E/pages/image030.html Second is this Lackawanna open hopper with slope sheets added. I assume this was done to carry denser materials like ballast stone as opposed to the less dense coal. Is this a safe assumption or am I going down the wrong path. If this is correct then might this car be in MOW service for hauling stone? Paul T. any insights on this one? http://www.boxcars.us/Boxcars_A_M/D/pages/image061.html Thanks, Ed Olszewski Joshua wrote: > Never seen the LL tagline before: > > > > http://www.boxcars.us/Boxcars_A_M/D/pages/image060.html The Erie Lackawanna Mailing List http://EL-List.railfan.net/ To Unsubscribe: http://Lists.Railfan.net/erielackunsub.html ------------------------------
