I was looking at the Sheppard Track Diagrams while at East Stroudsburg last week and came across the site of the Boiler Works, just west of the Courtland St. Crossing. The track is shown on the diagrams but I was wondering if the boiler works was still receiving shipments during the early 70's. I have never seen any mention of this industry anywhere. Anyone know anything about it? It is a huge building with what looks like one track running right up the center of the building.
