Sounds like a great repro idea for ELDCPS . . .

Of course, after hearing Wlat Zullig tell the story of the NYS&W passenger discontinuance saga at the NJM meeting, one could come up with a great "Discontinue Your Passenger Service" boad game <g>.

And they were environmentalists too -- lobbying for "Clean Air" laws all through the Middle Atlantic states and New England, and coupled that with support for the "City Beautiful" movement. No one who ever complained about "tree huggers" could ever claim to be a DL&W fan . . .
