Re: (erielack) track plan advice?



Yeah I do NOT understand a facination with paperwork. One thing I did wonder was if I could find a way to do the paperwork on PDA's? I don't think there is anything sacred about pen and paper, and I would rather not have any more paper clutter in my house then I have to. A wife who won't throw away old bills is bad enough. When we moved into this house I threw out check blanks to an account she hasn't had in 5 years <shakes head>. At this early stage I plan on largely CTC &/or absolute permissive block.

  But I do find it funny that those same modelers will spend a LOT of time
  writing out train orders and other paperwork that takes even longer than
  adjusting a coupler by hand :)
