I agree. The dark green's identity was established a while ago on this list, but the gray-green remains as one of the hardest colors to duplicate I habe ever encountered -- because so much of its appearance depends on what lighting illuminates the model, not to mention the make-up of the paint itself: i.e.: lacquer-based vs. "water" soluble. I'm thankful that I have probably painted everything that I need too; now I just have to take care what I coule to which, so the consist looks rational. I have it on very good authority that the gray-green on ERIE passenger equipment is a unique shade among all the paint colors applied to EMD-manufactured equipment. NP used a different light green.
