(erielack) "PB" TOWER PORTAGE,N.Y.

This is the first time I have seen a photo of this tower.
Was it just for controlling the switches at either end
of the bridge or was it a block operators station also ???

July-1945 and it appears the switch has an electric switch motor.
There also was a stairway at the end of the bridge that descended
to the PRR tracks below.At one time the PRR had a flag stop there.
