Re: (erielack) Steamtown Images--August 11, 2017--B Series (B2345-B2349)
Many railroads (EL included) used different colors for different functions of
the levers. This resulted in a faster operation for the operators.
For instance--
Switches and derails----black
Locks---blue
Signals---red
Traffic levers----green
unused spare levers---white
etc.
