List...
Next up, we have the other Buffalo Creek boxcar, this one a Pullman-Standard PS-1 40' box with a 7' door opening. The Buffalo Creek had two large groups of PS-1s, the first of which arrived in 1952. The cars were found in the number series 1000-1499, and 2000 - 2499. Apart from being delivered in separate lots, they were nearly identical. Like the ACF cars, some of the PS-1s went through a rebuilding of sorts and were reclassified from XM to XF (Food Loading Only). The number series 3017-3424 and 4000 - 4497 (1/76 Equipment Register) contains the rebuilt cars, which lost their running boards but were otherwise very similar. In the EL consist sheets, 39 of the BCK cars appeared, which would have been good enough for 72-74 in the EL Hot 100. If we include the rebuilt cars, that number increases to 51 cars.

Locations...
Most of these cars were seen east of Buffalo, mainly hauling flour to eastern food processors and bakeries, or hauling grain by products to animal feed companies like Agway. A few were coming back empty from Chicago, so we know that not all the cars were held east of Buffalo.
Model...
Kadee has produced an exact model of this car, most recently in March 2015.
