Subject: EL's dining car fleet is back on home rails!

This afternoon Norfolk Southern delivered Erie Lackawanna dining cars 741
and 770 to Slateford Jct. For the first time since 1972 three EL diners
are on home rails. Unlike 1972 all of them await their restoration to
service, once again to serve meals along the EL.

Here is a photo of them passing through Portland, PA and then upon arrival
at Slateford Jct.

Thanks to all of you who have provided the financial support to make this
worth - and expensive effort possible.
