Paul,

The car on the west end of the string is ACFX 62032 and is lettered for
"SCHAEFER SALT". Underneath the large name is "Chas Schaefer Sons Inc."
The attached photo, also taken 1/20/1987, is clearer.

Several of the other cars in the string also look to be for Schaefer Salt,
but the photo isn't clear enough to be sure of the lettering.

Besides the nondescript gray cars, I would see bright green Cargill Salt
cars and some yellow cars that I believe were also lettered for Cargill.
