Paul & List,

At the Lower Lakes Marine Historical Society we were donated newspaper
clippings by a pair of 90 year-old brothers, now deceased. We have about 100
large boxes and we have been clipping, trimming and gluing for years. Most
are lake related, but a decent share of RR. I always have a box at home.
Just now I started on 1964 and came across three (so far) on the first unit
grain trains in the country. I haven't tried to analyse them but some of you
more knowledgible can gain some insight from these. Notice the train is all
40-foot boxcars (at least what is photographed)
