At the dedication ceremony of our museum yesterday, a steeleworker approached me with a donation for the musem. It was a photo of the Erie police force gathered at Salmance in the late 1940's, plus misc. paperwork. It has 18 uniformed officers and 3 in civies. It made me wonder just how large a force the Erie had after WWII.
