On the way home from the Convention, after 2 days in Corning, we
followed the EL from Hornell to Cuba. It was fun exploring the
valleys the EL followed. And seeing the one-employer towns that are
along the route.

At Cuba, I used the map on my work Blackberry to located CB
Jct. Drive west on Main Street and keep going. Two bridges
remain. So does the bricked up tower. And the ROW is still
visible. It was fun finding these remnants. But, also, a question.
Isn't that "short" for a tower?

Also, our dinner at the Susquehanna station was the last event
there. It's for sale due to the economy and has a couple of liens
against it. Let's hope someone can continue to preserve it (and
close up the open window on the west end).
