Hi folks,

Attached are some images from a friend and co-worker, Frank
Etzel. These were all taken within the past two weeks, but they are all
highly EL-relevant. These images are not meant to be distributed
commercially, they're just some images Frank is sharing with us EL fans!

The M&E 488 image is taken at East Dover, NJ, on Halloween Day,
2003. This is when NS borrowed the two M&E FL9s to fill in for their
ailing units. Here the units are making up their local, which worked the
ex-EL Boonton Line later that day. This is the first time (I think?) cab
units have actually done revenue freight work on this line since the
late 1970s.

The Delaware-Lackawanna images are of a chase of the Portland
Turn on October 24, 2003. D-L M636 #3643 led the eastbound train
(PT-98), while C636 #3642 led the westbound leg (train PT-97).

The image filenames give the location details - EL fans should
recognize all the locations! Enjoy!
