If anyone has always wanted to recreate the 1970's EL commuter operations in
1:1 scale, now's the time to start. NJ Transit is soliciting bids on a lot of up to
53 Comet I coaches. However, be forewarned that most are not in serviable condition.
And no, they say they won't sell them on an individual basis.

I've attached a scan of the public notice from the 11/10/09 Star Ledger.
