To ride in an 2200 series coach with a K5 upfront on the way to Buffalo
from Susquehanna on Erie 1 in the 1940's or to ride DL&W 6, the Phoebe Snow
from Buffalo to Binghamton and then Erie train 8 home to Susquehanna in the
1950's would be great.
I did both many times and for free. The trips on the Erie Limited as a boy
to Buffalo to visit my relatives there is probably why I grew up loving
trains.
