As I mentioned in an earlier post, I decided to sell off my collection of TRAINS - some of which my dad bought me in the 40s. It took a while to sort thru them & see what all I had & I guess I'll probly go to E-Bay later, but I decided to fooer them to my fellow DL&W & ERIE & EL admirers. They're all in prettty good shape except for frayed edges here & there.
It's hard to believe some of the stuff in them.......articles on the Colorado Midland, NYC, etc. and many other long-gone RRs & steam pics galore in the issues up to the 60s. What impressed me was the many ads by roads like the Monon, P&LE, which were full of optomism & the builders ads. LIMA..We believe in steam engines!!.
My wife yelled at me several times when I was sorting them in the garage...."I KNOW you're reading those books out there!!!'
STOP ME BEFORE I READ MORE!!!!!
Here's prices & dates of isssues I have:

1958 ALL except Feb, May, August Oct, & Dec
1959 ALL except Jan, April, May, July, Oct, & Dec.
To avoid 'cherry - picking', I'll advise that there's one issue in the 1950s that I really don't want to sell & that's June, 1950 with LACKAWANNA RR 802 on the cover and a big(8 page) article on the DL&W. At the end of the article is a Steam & diesel roster updated to Jan. 1950...........this issue will be $20.00.
There's lots more great stuff in the 60s, 70s & 80s, but this is all I have the time to type up for now. To be fair, I'll sell to the first person who emails me & ship as soon as I get a check.
