Read the responses to Roy's question on the color of E. Stroudsburg tower and was surprised not to see Floquil's #RR40, Dark Green mentioned. I like it right out of the bottle for a newly painted structure, especially on bare wood (unsealed). For a weathered structure I prefer to "fade" it with the addition of gray paint rather than white. For extreme weathering a coat of gray primer underneath followed by a faded top coat of Dark Green can judiciously be distressed with a coarser grade of sandpaper to get the desired level of chipped paint. Go easy on this and check the building at actual viewing distances and in the same light as the part of the layout it is going to sit on. Rusty Recordon ------------------------------
