EL Company Sand About 1974 at Bangor we stopped sending our company service 40 ft Erie box car to Ohio and begun to send it to South Jersey on the CNJ via Lake Jct. I do not remember anymore the station name I used to waybill the car too. It was taking too long to go to Ohio and come back. With all the increased business we where running out of sand. You can not run the B&P with out sand. The turnaround time via the CNJ was a lot faster.
