I suspect whatever paint scheme was in use in 1938-39 was still in use at this time. I'd appreciate any information that can be provided. I've built several DL&W structures and had never been able to complete them due to a lack of knowledge in regards DL&W paint schemes for structures leading up to the WWII years. The NMRA articles didn't specify any paint scheme applicable to the structures. The same is true with articles on barges, lighters and tugs used by the DL&W and the Erie. I have not been able to find any information that would help determine the rail-marine paint schemes used on the rail marine equipment from reading the old Erie magazines or my back issues of the ELHTS magazine or in my copies of Model Railroader, Railroad model Craftsman, or Mainline Modeler. Hopefully someone will be able to provide some of the requested information. Thanks. Larry Sexton Crystal River, Fla - -- No virus found in this incoming message. Checked by AVG Anti-Virus.
