At least with MicroScale. I am preparing artwork for them for a custom run (which they do if you provide ALL the artwork, in Adobe Illustrator, to their exact specs), They print each color in separate runs through a press, in a specific sequence. I am about 70% through the creation of this artwork, (after having lost it when it was about 95% finished, but not backed up when my computer crashed . . .) and it's not simple, either working with Illustrator or conforming to their specs. It's a little scary, in that there is no proof copy that comes for approval. WYSIWYG. Change out the S from See to Send.
