Subject: Mystery sign on EL U34CH...

Folks,

I was scanning in a friend's slides today, and came across an
interesting shot of U34CH #3362 in the Suffern, NY yard in June 1972.
What was interesting was the placard attached to the engineer's side of
the cab. I've attached a highly-zoomed image of this placard, but as you
can tell, the image loses a lot when it's blown up from a slide! Does
anyone know what this might say? I assume it's probably a
"congratuations on your last run" type of thing - would anyone know any
EL folks who had their last runs at this time?

- Paul
