How many of you have seen an Erie MU car? Here are both sides of a
REAL PHOTO postcard (the image is printed directly from the negative)
of Erie 3103. It and cars like it were used on an Erie line that ran
south from Rochester, NY, over 100 years ago. Paul sent me url's for
a few similar cars.

Mailed on 23 Sep 1907, this card was sent via the Mount Morris &
Buffalo RPO (trip 27). Mount Morris was on the DL&W! Still, it only
took two days to reach Kentucky.

It looks like a note from a boy to his girl, far away: "How would you
like a trolley ride with this crew. Hope to see you in Oct in old
Ky. Will". A nice little time capsule.
