Much Thanks goes to Doug Ellison who with some others solved yesterdays
mystery photo. It looks north between Liberty and Robinson St in
Binghamton, NY. Its of the DL&Ws LCL Transfer in Binghamton. As suspected
the D&H is just out of the photo on the left. Great Work Doug,

*Ok, I think what we have in the photo is "DL&W Binghamton Transfer"
looking at this Sanborn map and mapping in Taber Vol 2. Just what this was,
I do not know but the mystery photo seems to have been taken at Liberty
Street crossing looking north towards Robinson Street. Note the long
platform and office building.*

A0163-0165 Are as marked. The five span bridge ( NO 10 ) crosses the
Chenango River in Green Twp between Willards and Green, NY.

B0165 Is as marked.

X0163 The Lackawanna had many of these concrete Frt Houses.I can't put my
finger on where this particular one is. Maybe locals can help if it's in
your area of expertise.
X0164 *This is not the coal trestle in Jersey City, but the Grain Pier in
Jersey City*. Each opening for dropping grain would eventually get a
building built over them, and the cross overs would disappear, with one
spring switch at the end of the pier, to send a car back down the long ramp
into the yard.
X0165 Is as marked
