Here's a few pictures of the RPO in Elkhart almost two years. Wish we could get this car back east. I told the museum I'd come out some weekend and paint the car - anyone want to go along?

I went by on the "Capitol Limited" a few days ago. It was still there. The paint job is getting bad again. I didn't have a clear view, a freight had stopped to change crews. So I had to look between the cars as we took off from the station.

Back in the early 1990s, I was railfanning at Elkhart, IN. Right across from
he railroad station was a former EL rider car (either R29 or R30, the
umber was illegible) off its trucks, still in full EL paint. I've posted
he exterior shots, but here's one I never posted - the interior of the car
fter it suffered a fire.
Not sure if the car is still sitting there, but it was adjacent to the NYC
useum - but not within the Museum property.
