"Line_pole_Montville_NJ-PRT.jpg" - image/jpeg, 1234x1743 (24bit)

Just as an FYI, I've attached a shot I took back in high school years of a
typical DL&W line pole in Montville, NJ. You can see the ceramic sign
attached to the bottom of it. It appears that a lot of the equipment that
used to be on that panel has been removed?

As an aside, when Morris County decided to rebuild the old Morris Ave. road
bridge in Boonton (directly adjacent to the DL&W main), it took away a lot
of the lineside details that were no longer being used, including several
line poles. They were taken down and cut into chunks for disposal. I noticed
one of the cut poles had one of those ceramic signs, so I "liberated" it
before it went into a garbage heap. You can see it in the other attached
shot.
