It's just like anything else, you just get used to it. When I started
doing N scale, I got a set of Optivisors. I use them for everything
now. As far as locos are concerned there are only a few out there that
are missing. U33-c's, Baldwin AS-16 & AS 616's, S-12's. Other than
that you are covered. Also, Soundtraxx is coming out with Surroundtraxx
which is a unit with speakers that you place around the layout. You
connect this to the Digitraxx transponding units and the sound of the
loco will follow it around the layout. You just need to have Digitraxx
decoders in your locos. I have attached some photos of N scale stuff
that I have done.
