One of the most unlikely places to see a Stillwell might be California. But
several, four I believe, saw "Skunk Train" service on the California
Western. Here are several shots taken in 1973 and 1987.

The California Western web site no longer shows any evidence of Stillwell's
so they may be gone. But they now apparently have ex EL Hi Roof MU trailers.

After the Erie and the Erie Lackawanna, I was wondering if anyone ever
compiled a list of the different railroads that purchased and operated the
Erie's Stillwell passenger coaches. Does such a list exist? If not, can
anyone help advise me what roadnames the Stillwells wore in later life?
Roadnames, pictures, et al - anything would be both useful and of interest.
Thank you for your time and assistance.

Sincerely,
Charles Smith
