As background, the Erie, NYC and LV terminals were parallel to
each other. Attached is a postcard photo of the NYC yards, which
were much more extensive than you see here. To the extreme
right is the Erie Depot (labeled) and their coach yards. The Erie
operated out of their original (1858?) depot until the mid 1930's
when they moved into the LV Main Street depot. Attached is a
photo of the original Erie Depot from about 1929.

Also attached is a track diagram of the Erie Depot and adjacent
NYC tracks. It looked like this about up to 1933. After the Erie
moved to the LV depot, they roofed over their train sheds to form
a freighthouse to compliment their other Louisiana Street freight
house, about a block away. Both freight houses still stand. Attached
are a couple photos taken in 2005.
