Don,

The photos are looking west towards Dunmore and (over the mountain) Throop,
about where I put the yellow "X" on the attached map. Nay Aug and the
Roaring Brook gorge are off the photos to the left in the distance. The
track on the left got washed away in 1955 along with a lot of the right of
way, the line was rebuilt with 2 tracks and most of the 2nd track was
removed during Conrail.

Even though I know the cliffs in the C4006-7 scenes very well (the view from
the top is spectacular), somehow, to me, it seems that the slow track should
be on the right, not the left. This is in the Roaring Brook gorge below the
Moosic Mountains, right Frank?
