That's correct John, you're on the right track, some piece of EL equipment
that accompnied the load. I've attached the 2/SFE-100 consist, it's in 3
seperate pages. The first 8 cars carried the NYCTA loads. I'm still
searching for that DVD sequence.

If I understand the question, you are inquiring about a piece of equipment,
with ELZ 540 series reporting marks, that accompanies each subway car. My
(vague)recollection is that each of these subway cars was covered with a
white tarp, of some sort. These might have been custom-made, and therefore
expensive. Perhaps these tarps were valuable enough that they warranted
special handling, and carried the ELZ markings?
