Many of the series Mike lists above are the same car that ARHS tried to
roughly replicate back in the 1990s with the Walthers (former Train
Miniature?) 2-bay cars.

Additionally, a number of DL&W hoppers survived in DL&W paint (but newer
02000-series numbers) and were used in ballast service well into the 1970s.
(see the attached Karl Geffchen photo of DL&W 02009 in ballast service in
August 1973). The highest numbered DL&W car I have images of is 02033, so
we can assume that at least 33 of these hoppers survived almost, if not to,
the end of the EL.
