I was looking through some old New York TIMES archives today and found this
from March 4, 1960. 55 years ago and appropriate because of the weather
outlook. March 3, 1960 brought the deepest snowstorm of the season to the
New York City area. Over a foot fell. The TIMES reported on all of the
transportation issues including this small segment about New Jersey
railroads. Somebody couldn't figure out what the "Delaware" and
"Lackawanna" was. Not sure why a TIMES copy reader couldn't correct that
mistake. But the rail carriers were operating business as usual.
