"Group_Three0001.jpg" - image/jpeg, 1483x896 (24bit)

Attached is a scan of a lousy slide that I took in 1989 on a tour of
Conrail's Selkirk Yard. Stencil in upper right corner seems to be DL&W
C-2000 or something like that.

As a bonus, another slide from that day of an EL trailer.

Many of the series Mike lists above are the same car that ARHS tried
to roughly replicate back in the 1990s with the Walthers (former Train
Miniature?) 2-bay cars.

Additionally, a number of DL&W hoppers survived in DL&W paint (but
newer 02000-series numbers) and were used in ballast service well into
the 1970s.
(see the attached Karl Geffchen photo of DL&W 02009 in ballast service
in August 1973). The highest numbered DL&W car I have images of is
02033, so we can assume that at least 33 of these hoppers survived
almost, if not to, the end of the EL.
