Bob,

Somewhere around 1970 a bypass around Stanhope/Netcong was constructed
for Route 206, so that it would connect up with Rt 80 in Mount Olive.
The Sussex Branch at that point was out of service but not officially
abandoned, so a green bridge (see photo attached) was built to allow the
branch to pass over the new Rt 206 bypass. The green bridge is actually
in almost the same location where previously the Sussex Branch passed
over the Morris Canal over a drawbridge (see attached photo.)

I have it on good authority, however that no train ever passed over this
bridge.
