EL 1214 and either the 900 or 901 heads up the NEOTA (North East Ohio
Teacher's Assn) special train from Youngstown to Cleveland on October 30, 1964 at
the Warren, Ohio depot. GP-7 locomotives were uncommon on the Mahoning
Division and very rare on passenger trains.

The train ran annually, with about a dozen coaches for the one-day
conference, passing through Warren westbound about 0815 and returning late afternoon,
just ahead of #628.

The eastbound semaphores with square ends are positive stop signals to
protect the two city block long gauntlet between Main Street and Pine Street.

It appears to me that nothing in this photo remains today, except perhaps
some of the passengers.
