You're welcome Ken.

By the way, you might be interested in seeing the service announcement that
was referenced, or one like it. Erie issued a flyer announcing the change
from Jersey City to Hoboken and the use of the Barclay Street boats instead
of Chambers Street in September 1956 and I found a copy online which I am
attaching. The announcement is not dated by year, only day, and I have also
seen the announcement misidentified by some online sources as being from
1962. Obviously, it predates 1962 -- it is identified as being issued by
Erie, with their logo, and the road no longer existed in 1962 -- and it is
really from 1956. I think some of the online sites were not familiar with
the road's history and looked for a year in which October 13th fell on a
Saturday. There was a Saturday October 13th in 1962 and I guess they chose
that one. But it also fell on a Saturday in 1956 and that is the correct
year.

There are many ways to document that and one way is a November 1956
OFFICIAL GUIDE I found online. The Erie listing shows the change to the
Barclay Street boats has been made. The effective date of the schedule
shown is October 13, 1956.
