"DL_W_1151_Binghamton_NY-5-38-Harold_Vollrath_coll.jpg" - image/jpeg, 1247x719 (24bit)

OK, I'm confused. The attached shot of 1151 with "early streamlining)
PREDATES the World's fair by a year (maybe they were already experimenting
with the look they wanted for the Fair?) Of course the date could be wrong,
but it's a Vollrath collection shot and he was pretty meticulous about his
date keeping. The other photo shows the probable reason why it lots all
its streamlining - it was wrecked at Danville, NY in November 1940, right
after the fair. Later photos shows its "standard" Pocono appearance.

I've also attached photos of it in the "1939" and "1940" configuration,
which is somewhat baffling. The "1939" configuration has the plain front end
(did they remove the stuff in the 1938 shot?) while the "1940" shot shows it
with the full streamlined front.

Note that the 1939 has "POCONO MOUNTAIN ROUTE" on the side (it's on both
sides, I have photos that show this), and the 1940 has "LACKAWANNA
RAILROAD."
