NJ Transit has donated caboose NJT 907 to the Whippany Railway Museum. It arrived at Whippany, NJ, this morning. It was built in September, 1970 by International Car as EL C372 as part of the railroad's last order of cabooses.

It was among the group that went to the Delaware & Hudson on C-Day and then was one of the six cabooses the D&H sold to NJT about twenty years ago, some of which were ex-EL and some of which were built for the D&H. The museum has also recently acquired one of the D&H versions and is in the process of repainting it to the D&H yellow with blue scheme, so although there's been no word, here's hoping this one will again carry the diamond.
