Per Henry's request below, here's a scan of a placarded reefer, the
other side.

To answer your questions:

1. Yes, these cars had roller bearing trucks.
2. The first 20 (5000-5019) had roofwalks and tall ladders. The walks
were later removed and the ladders shortened.
3. The second 20 (5020-5039) had no roofwalks and short ladders...
