Wartime photos are rare, but here's a great one of a yard somewhere, likely the Pennsy in the New Jersey / Pennsylvania area. From the paint schemes and weathering on the cars I'm guessing this is ca. 1942-'44. There is a Phoebe billboard 1937 boxcar in the distance, making this photo not possible before April 1942, and the MKT rebuilds are about the same time. The variants in roof lines and style are great.

If anyone can recognize the location, I'd love to know where it is.
