Correct on both accounts. The tracks are Erie and the DL&W Winton Br was
parallel, where the power line is now.

The DL&W removed their tracks between 1955-58 but the Erie tracks in the
photo survived EL and Conrail. They were finally rendered useless when they
were isolated when parts of the former Wyoming Division in Dunmore washed
out during Hurricane Gloria in 1985.

My point was with those tracks and the Winton roadbed down the hill to Nay
Aug (see attached), it's a very doable project. There's even an underpass
on I-81.

Thanks for the photo Frank!

I guess technically the track that's left must have been part of the Erie
Jessup branch, coming from over the bridge from Rock Junction. The Winton
branch track would have paralleled the track in the picture.

Come to think of it, weren't 3 tracks still there in the 70s? Was the Winton
Branch completely torn out in the 1950s, or was some left into the EL?
