"Corry.jpg" - image/jpeg, 1024x422 (24bit)

Ron Stafford provided this PRR General Order #721 effective April 10, 1962
showing the track layout at EYE Tower, Corry, PA.

The Erie-Emporium line of the PRR crossed the Erie main line at MS Tower,
Corry. Just west of MS was EYE Tower (a single level building in later
days).

While the attached may be marginally "on topic" it shows the EL tracks in
the vicinity of Corry and how the PRR Main Line Erie-Emporium and the
Chautauqua Branch fit into the picture at Corry.

The Chautauqua Branch crossed over the Erie about 3/4 mile west of Lovell
Road on a bridge that still stands today. The Chautauqua Branch is gone
now at Corry except for a very short portion near LOVE where the PRR Main Line
Erie-Emporium had a cut and throw. The spur line that crossed the EL at
EYE Tower is now operated by the WNYP to serve a local sand unloading
customer.

Thanks to Ron for providing and allowing the posting.
