Subject: Screenshots of the virtual Tristate_Rails route
"EL-6.jpg" - image/pjpeg, 1024x819 (24bit)

Hello,

Richard Shirey took these outstanding screenshots of an Erie Lackawanna SD-45 pulling a train in the virtual Tristate_Rails route for the Microsoft Train Simulator platform. To complement the screenshots, he also wrote a story about his trip, which I am including in this post below.

"It's June 1968 and the Graham line has just been blocked by a small rock slide. The Erie Lackawanna has decided to run it's Westbound interchange train out of Maybrook back to Port Jervis via the Montgomery branch to Goshen, then the Goshen line to Middletown, and finally back on the Graham line to Port Jervis."

I am enclosing the screenshots in the order mentioned about in Richard's story:

"The chase begins as the train leaves the New Haven's yard at Maybrook.
We are now hitting the NYO&W's diamonds at Campbell Hall.
Crossing the Graham line at MQ tower.
We are now pulling onto the Goshen line at Goshen.
We have finally reached Middletown.
Now we are back on the Graham line at Middletown (Howells) Jct and heading West.
A couple of shots at Otisville.
Oh you take the high road and I'll take the low road and we'll meet at Graham Jct.
We've finally arrived at Port Jervis, a quick crew change and this train will be heading West on the Southern Tier.
Headed West."

And a bonus of an Erie train on the L&HR

Sincerely,
Walter
