Re: Port Morris--as others have noted, it isn't really out in the boonies.
There were a couple of small markets in the center of town then--I was up
in the area a couple of weeks ago for an ops weekend, and drove through
PtM--the stores seem to be closed now, so like everywhere else, its hop in the
car and drive to the shopping center.
I drove down by the station--looks good; and by what used to be
Stockers-the Singer plant is recognizable; takeing the back road to the hotel you can
see the outline of the sintering Machine Plant in the newer big building.
