Yes, George sometimes types too fast :) - I'm guessing that's a 2/75 (not
2/65) shot.

Beginning of 1974, and it started to spread quickly after that.

Yes, the 2556 was THE last GP35 with the maroon Roman lettering, and it made
it into CR this way.

Side-to-side, they were slightly offset towards the engineer's side of the
cab. Front-to-back, they were slightly towards the back of the cab. The
attached overhead shot of 2551, taken by George Elwood, should explain it
quite well.
