My source of information on this are the 1980 CR track profiles, which are
essentially the last drawn by the EL, which in turn were the last DLW
diagrams. They show nearly all the ABS's between Summit and Denville to
look like the attached diagram.
My interpretation is a two head signal with 2 upper aspects (R and Y) and
the lower a single aspect (G). The heavier lower vertical line indicates
that Clear is the canonical state of that signal. What I found interesting:
Assuming the canonical state of an interlocking signal, Denville in this
case, is Stop, the canonical state of the 2 preceeding WB 3 aspect ABS's
each is approach. go figure.
