I was rereading the Diamond V31,#1 and noticed the caption on page 17 regarding the
PRR turntable pit on the south side of Mt.Morris.
I looked thru all my PRR employee handbooks and CT 1000's but found no info.

Upon consulting Historic Map Works I found a turntable on 1872 and 1902 maps.
It would appear that the turntable is actually an Erie predecessor installation.
The 1872 map shows it next to the Genesee Valley Canal which predated the PRR prdecessor.
