"Bridgeville_station_after_fire..jpg" - image/jpeg, 380x133 (24bit)

There was an article in the print version of today's Star Ledger, and a picture of what remained of the station (in the middle section of the warehouse that burned it said - so Bob's recollection that the station became part of a larger building was right). It had a dormer which you can barely see the trace of in some of the photos in historicaerials.com
There is a similar but not identical article online at nj.com, but without any of the "after" pictures, at least as of this moment. http://www.nj.com/warren/index.ssf/2016/07/historic_train_station_heavily_damaged_in_warehous.htmlBut somehow, when I pasted the above link into this email, an "after" picture popped up by magic in the email - it must be related to the link somehow. So I copied it, and attached it to the email, and deleted it from the body of the email. We'll see it it works... Jim S

Sorry, I somehow hit send a few minutes ago before I typed my message.
Looking at historicaerials.com and mapper.acme.com, it seems that the creamery, which from the map posted here is on the south side of the tracks, disappeared already a long time ago. From what I can make out, the 2 current (til yesterday) buildings are on the north side of the ROW, and the one closest to the RoW is where the station was (or is the expanded or enclosed station), and the northern (larger) one showed up between 1956 and 1963. From the pictures posted, it looks like the southernmost building (but north of the RoW) is what burned -.the station location. The more northern building (the one with the round Bridgeville Depot sign), is still be there in photo 35523 (or at least the end of it by the road is). Jim S
