Today I noticed a former Erie Lackawanna caboose on a spur here in Carlstadt NJ. I believe this is EL C378 (D&H 35815.. she still rides on D&H trucks ). The caboose is still in operation with Norfolk Southern for occasional backup movements on the Pascack Valley Line.
Enjoy some photos including a timeless image looking down the tracks off the platform, but as you can see from these views it's sure looking a bit worn these days.... this would be a perfect subject for an NJT "EL Heritage" paint scheme don't you think? :)
